Already £10 over

With still three days to go in October, I have some good news: the Weekly Worker has already reached our monthly £2,750 fighting fund target! Thanks to a very useful £582 that came our way over the last week, the running total currently stands at £2,760. Well done, everyone!

Topping the numbers list was comrade JC, with his fantastic £176, followed by RL (£60), DD (£36), JT (£25), GD, PS and JW (£24 each), AB (£20), JM and BH (£15), TT (£10) and AR (£5) - all of whom contributed via bank transfer or standing order. Then we had three comrades who used PayPal - thanks also to JB and DB (£50 each) and ES (£8) - not to mention comrade IR, who sent us a £20 cheque, and two comrades who each handed £10 to one of our team.

But, as I say, we still have three days to go, in which we can eat into the deficit of previous months, so please play your part if you can and let’s see if we can actually reach £3,000 by this Saturday, October 31. To make sure we get your donation on time, please click on the PayPal button on our website or donate via bank transfer before the weekend (see below for more information if you need it).

Yes, that’s right - we rely on you, our readers, to provide the financial support the Weekly Worker needs to keep playing its vital role of support for the kind of organisation the working class so desperately needs. Please do your best.
